Venus Optics is very popular as a most unusual lenses manufacture on the market today. Laowa's 25mm f2.8 2.5-5x Ultra Macro lens also is a very special macro lens, because of it’s ability to achieve the magnification from 2.5 to 5x (Please refer my articles about magnification ratio: English / Sinhala). And this lens is specially designed with an extended working distance (45mm at 2.5x & 40mm at 5x) and with a greater depth of field. And it is much more compact and lighter than other macro lenses in the market.

This lens is available with Canon EF, Sony FE, Nikon F, Nikon Z, Canon RF Pentax K mounts and you may choose one as per your requirements. This lens is fully manual and there is no electronic coupling, auto focusing and automatic aperture control. Aperture can be adjusted at the very front of the lens. Venus Optics also offers a special front LED ring light and a tripod collar to go with the lens.
