Sri Lankan green pit viper (Craspedocephalus trigonocephalus)

Sri Lankan green pit viper (Craspedocephalus trigonocephalus) is endemic to Sri Lanka, and bites are reported from tropical rain forests and plantation areas.

The neck is distinct from the flattened, triangular head. The eyes are mid-size, and the snout is short, rounded, and broad. The Sri Lankan pit viper camouflages well with the forests it lives in. Typically, it is a green snake with a black pattern, and a black line along the side of its head is present. The males tend to have a blue coloration while the females are predominantly green.

Helicon Focus is a proprietary commercial digital image processing tool, first released in 2003, developed and published by Helicon Soft Limited. Helicon Focus uses focus stacking technique to improve your captured digital images.
